Meet Collin & Trent
A few years ago we chose to simplify our lives so that we could be more present and savor moments that seemed to be passing us by so quickly. We were splitting time between a loft in New York and a weekend house in the Hudson Valley (which sounds pretty ideal), but it just got to be too much. We were bursting at the seams and exhausted by the pace. We needed to push a reset button.
That journey led us down a meandering country road to a charming 1700s Connecticut farmhouse. We quickly realized that we had found our home and a new lifestyle. It is an incredible moment when you have that feeling of being exactly where you are supposed to be. We got right to work with renovations and infusing the home with our style. Hound House evolved into the perfect refuge for us and our pack of greyhounds.
As more and more people visited the house, and commented on its unique charm and decor, we quickly realized that we wanted to share all of it with a broader audience. We decided to make Hound House available as a venue for small events and photo shoots. Additionally, we wanted to give people the opportunity to bring a piece of Hound House into their own homes which led to curating a bespoke collection of home accents beginning with the Olfactory Collection. All the while, Collin’s interior design business continued to grow and garner more attention. And Hound House was realized.
